From concept to creation: an exciting content creation & social media project for a new premium skincare brand, Lean Skincare.
Armed with visions of a luxury, French-inspired skincare brand, Sarah - the founder of Lean Skincare - approached us to help bring her ideas to fruition through photography and social media coaching. Sarah had yet to finalise her product line, but tasked us with shooting two types of content - "fresh and sunny" scenic shots, and beauty textures - to bring her Instagram and website to life prior to the brand's launch.
We combined both lifestyle and product elements to create a clean & cohesive feed of imagery, enticing a community of skincare enthusiasts and building a buzz around the new brand.
With a team based in London and the South of France, Sequel is able to achieve both lifestyle and professional product shots at ease, with stunning scenes on the French Riviera and a photography studio at our fingertips. We combined both lifestyle and product elements to create a clean & cohesive feed of imagery, enticing a community of skincare enthusiasts and building a buzz around the new brand.
We focused on macro texture and ingredient photography to demonstrate key elements of the brand’s upcoming skincare collection and French lifestyle photography to add a touch of elegance to the feed.
Sarah was keen to launch and manage the Lean Skincare social media herself, but wanted to hone her skills and feel confident that she was implementing up-to-date, tried and tested strategies. Sequel's Creative "DIY" Social Media coaching package was therefore a perfect fit.
As part of this package, we coached Sarah through a personalised deck via video call, which included all of our expertise and top tips surrounding social media management. We covered everything from a unique, beautifully curated Instagram feed plan, to an in-depth competitor audit, and our personal recommendations and walk-throughs of scheduling platforms, editing apps and hashtag tools. We also taught Sarah how to grow her accounts and build a community of loyal brand advocates, so she felt confident - and excited - to take on the social media management herself.
